Not only will they want to know if there is a lot of manpower engagement involved, that is if they can merely get the job done with bare minimum of human labor, but also expect the machines to last. Before implementing this system, what they normally do is that they will only schedule a date with the customers when their machine is down. For this reason, many issues are affected. Such as, more manpower and time were required to go for site visits and to do inspections. Since the whole process of inspection would take up to an estimated 1 month, it is troublesome because it is very time consuming and will even affect the factory\u2019s production process for having such a long downtime.<\/span><\/p>

The estimated time is longer due to the unpredictable circumstances where they could not make advanced arrangements or purchase certain parts that are in need. To prevent any downtime, this system can be implemented to capture each of the machine\u2019s performance or health. The start date of the usage will be recorded and the company will be able to make predictions on the machine\u2019s health. Prior to this, they can conduct the preventive analytics to predict the overall performance of each machine and analyze what is their average perform<\/span>i<\/span>ng time to identify the risks. <\/span><\/p>

Besides, anomaly detection is also commonly used as a sign to show when the equipment or machine needs maintenance. It is able to identify unexpected events in the data set, which tells when a different behavior occurs.<\/span><\/p>

Finally, the user will be notified when it is almost time for the maintenance. Since they are now notified ahead of time, the company would be able to prepare all the things required and can immediately perform the maintenance once they are there.
